Onehunga
Onehunga is home to Auckland City's smaller port and looks out across the Manukau Harbour. If you look up the hill rather than out to sea you can see One Tree Hill and its famous monument.
For lovers of architecture, more examples can be seen in the former Post Office, designed by John Campbell; The Old Library, now a trendy and bustling coffee shop or the Church of St Peter to name a few.
Shoppers have a wide selection here, from specialists shops in the main high street to Dress Smart offering a huge variety of outlet stores at incredible prices.
Transport links to the airport are excellent from here with the motorway access to the southwest of the suburb. With the CBD also within easy reach and the opening of the new train station it makes Onehunga ideal for city life.
